1. Will the Cargo Box fit my vehicle?
   
   It will fit any vehicle equipped with a 2 inch or 1.25 inch receiver hitch, commonly found on most SUVs, RVs, trucks, etc. You will know you have a Class II, III or IV receiver hitch if it measures 2 inches square on the inside dimension. Please contact us with additional questions about hitches or to find a hitch installer.
   
   
   
2. What is the locking hitch pin, and do I need it?
   
   The locking hitch pin goes through your receiver and the cargo platform and locks it to your car.  A great safety measure and a wise move to protect your gear.
   
   
3. Is the Cargo Box waterproof?
   
   Our cargo box is weatherproof, equipped with an automotive grade weather seal all around the junction of the lid and base. This seal is designed to keep dust and water out of the box under normal weather conditions. However, under extreme weather conditions water or moisture may enter the box. We do not recommend that people transport electronics or other items particularly sensitive to moisture.
   
   
   
4. I ordered over the Internet, but I never received a confirmation. Was my order processed?
   
   Every order that is placed over the Internet will be confirmed with an email within minutes of processing, with products ordered and their costs. To ensure that you receive a confirmation, please verify you have entered your email address correctly when placing an order. If you do not receive a confirmation, then something may have happened with the transmission of your order. Please call us at 1-888-575-6652 as soon as possible to verify submission of your order.
   
   
   
5. I have a spare tire on the back of my vehicle, will the Cargo Box model fit on my vehicle?
   
   Yes we have a special fixed frame unit designed for vehicles with rear mount spare tires.  NO it does not swing out...sorry. Here is a link to the spare tire cargo box.
   
   
   
6. How much does the Cargo Box and frame weigh?
   
   Together they weigh 150 lbs.
   
   
7. How much can the Cargo Box hold?
   
   It will hold 12-16 cubic feet depending on model, and 200 pounds of gear. The abundant dimensions and wide opening design allow for an assortment of gear and cargo to be stored inside.
   
   
   
8. How long does it take to ship the Cargo Box to my home?
   
   We ship the units daily M-F.   Ground is least expensive and should take 4-8 days (faster if you live on west coast.  Please plan accordingly for upcoming trips or timelines.
   
   
   
9. How does the swing out, fold up platform work?
   
   The swingaway frame pivots a full 180 degrees on a pivot point situated on the passenger (right) side of the vehicle. The frame uses a convenient "slam fit" spring loaded closure device located on the backside of the cargo box. When in the fully open position the user will have clear access to the vehicle's rear doors and compartment. 
   
   
10. Do you offer a model to fit a Class II (1 ¼” hitch)?
