 Here are the most common questions we get about our car top carriers. 

1.  Q.  Do I really need the liner with Pack-Right Classic or other car top carriers?

Will the liner work with other car top carriers?

A. Classic & Sport are 98% waterproof.  It's made of one piece of material that's folded over with double stitched side seams.  Water may possibly seep in during big rain storms while driving for hours on the highway.

IF you are carrying cloths and sleeping bags and require complete water protection, get the liner.  Our liner/car top carrier combinations are THE most waterproof systems you can buy for your car.

IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER CAR TOP CARRIER;  We found our liner will work with most any soft sided car top carrier. (If you have a bigger carrier, buy two liners).  Our liner has a big opening, put it inside fill it and close your carrier.  If any water leaks in, the liner will keep water off of your gear.

2. Q.  Will the car clips work with (your vehicle year and model here)?

A. We can't really say for sure.  Some people find a way to make them work, others can't with the same car.  You must read the page on car clips and decide if YOU can make them work.  Some people that don't use car clips, open their car doors and tie Piggy Pack to the roof with the straps.  They run through the inside and over top. You can do this with all our carriers with StrapRight straps.

IMPORTANT...If you have a van with sliding doors, make sure car clips and straps do not interfere with the sliding mechanism.

3.  Q. I'm in a hurry, when will I get my order?

A.  We ship every day M-F.  Generally orders in by noon will go out the same day.  Generally ground shipping takes 1-6 business days depending how far you are from South Carolina.

Other products, tents, cargo boxes may take and extra day or two because they ship from other warehouses.  Even truck tents take different times as they ship from different parts of the country.  If you are in a rush, type a note of "must have by" date in the comments section of the order form.  The reason you should purchase this gear from us is that we hustle and get this stuff out faster than anyone.

4. Q. Which car top carrier is right for me?
