I thought I would write and let you know how well your Piggy Pack system worked for me. I loaded my Dodge Durango with six people, luggage and skis for a vacation in Austria. I packed four full size suit cases in the Piggy Pack using the silver inner bag, and roof protector. You may know that the speed limit on the German Autobahn is 130 Kilometers per hour (80 mph). I drove in the rain and snow all the way down to Austria from Kaiserslautern Germany (return trip was rain also). That is a 7.5 hour trip. Everything in the Piggy Pack was high and dry. Your product is a great system, a superior value, easy to use and store. In fact the easy storage is a primary benefit of the system. I priced hard boxes. They were at least 2.5 times the price, don't have the ability to hold the four suitcases, weigh significantly more (thus reducing your load carrying ability), and ... where do you store a 7.5 foot box? I just wanted to let you know what a great car top carrier you have. I ordered the piggy pack in July and used it on a cross country camping excursion. Not only did it hold up under extreme circumstances, it was easy to load and unload as we were doing a lot of that. Our second day we were caught in a downpour/hailstorm in the Badlands, and I just knew all of our equipment on top would be soaked. After the storm, I checked it out and it was dry as a whistle. The Piggy Pack cartop carrier is a great value and the best of it's kind on the market. Thank you for selling such a great product.

OUTSTANDING! I couldn't live without my car top carrier. I've only used it once but can tell it'll become a permanent part of my vehicle. Anyway, I was extremely pleased with the turn around time. I got an email that my order was shipped the day after I placed the order. It came two days later. I was expecting to wait to receive it until the day before I had to use it. I recently bought the Piggy Pack car top carrier with the liner from your website. I was impressed with your candid descriptions of your product. I have just completed my first trip with the PP and can report the following results; Despite TORRENTIAL down pours on the drive from Michigan to Georgia and back, not one of the things that I had stored safely in the liner in the PP got a drop of water on them.... I was looking for one of these last summer, for my boat. To put on the front, on top of the sun pad. But I am taking the family skiing next week and I will not have much room in new Montero. I did have a Suburban but opted to scale down to a smaller truck. But since I will be using it mostly on my boat I went with the blue to match the canvas. It might be a good idea to go after the marine market. I will use it to hold thing like my zodiac when its deflated or extra luggage space on long trips with the family. Thanks, Wayne W.

Your site was very entertaining. I thought the wording was done very well, in fact it sounded like I wrote it myself! I browsed looking for car top carriers for my Lincoln Navigator. I hadn't even thought of a soft sided carrier but the advantage of being able to fold it up at the motel makes it seem very worthwhile. I am sure the hard cases have advantages too, but price and storage were not two of them. I am looking forward to receiving and using the product, both on family vacation, and when my son and I go on weekend camping trips for "just the boys". Bill C.

On the way to it was raining hard the whole way...nothing in the Piggypack got wet! When we returned we went through a winter storm (snow,sleet,ice,mud etc...)nothing got wet. Dear Dave Schaefer & Company: Thank you for a wonderful product in your Piggy Pack Car Top Carrier. I purchased it late last year for a trek from Virginia to St. Louis over the Christmas holidays and it worked fabulously. It was easy to pack and secure, did not leak (even through quite a bit of rain) and didn't have a negative effect on my gas mileage either. I have a Dodge Grand Caravan and have always had plenty of room, never needing the luggage rack on top. However, this year was rather special. After the events of September 11, we decided to travel by car rather than fly. My daughter and son-in-law traveled with us over the holidays meaning that along with the four of us (father, mother, sister, brother) there would be six passengers in a 7-passenger van. (Six-and-a-half passengers actually, since my daughter is six months pregnant!!) Realizing that having no personal space for about 15 hours or so could turn one's joyous Christmas spirit a little sour, we decided to put most of our luggage on the roof. That's where you all came in. After looking around at various other car carrier solutions, I happily chose the correct one: yours. Through your product you introduced us to the joys of traveling without luggage underfoot. I am sure our Piggy Pack will get plenty of use on future trips. My family and I thank you!
